In accordance with Rule 33-1, the Committee has laid down the following |
| rules: | |
| 1. | Within the competition it is intended that all matches will be played on a |
| weekday. Any match taking place on a weekend can only proceed with | |
| the full agreement of all players. | |
| 2. | All competitors must be fully paid up members of the Seniors Section and |
| ensure they have paid their entry fee to the Senior Section Treasurer prior | |
| to commencing play. All entrants must hold and maintain a Woldingham Golf | |
| Club handicap during the period of competition. | |
| 3. | All matches must be completed by the date given against each round. Any |
| disputes will be passed to the Seniors Committee. Unless agreed with the | |
| committee matches should not take place during time allotted to the Seniors | |
| Roll Up. | |
| 4. | The first named player or pair is responsible for agreeing the match date. |
| The first named player(s) must provide their opponents with at least 3 | |
| alternative dates. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the | |
| disqualification of the player(s) concerned. | |
FORMATS |

| SINGLES KNOCKOUT - Fee £5, Singles Matchplay over 18 holes, Full Club Handicap | |
| Allowance. | |
|
PAIRS KNOCKOUT - Fee £5 per player, drawn partners, Four Ball Better Ball, |
|
| Matchplay over 18 holes, 3/4 Club Handicap Allowance. | |
| SHOTS | |
| Ladies receiving shots will take their shots from the Ladies stroke index. | |
| Men receiving shots will take their shots from the Men’s stroke index. | |
| TROPHIES | |
| The winner of the Summer Singles will be awarded the Summer Singles Cup | |
| with a replica keepsake. | |
| The Runner up will be awarded a recognition keepsake | |
| The winner of the Summer Pairs will be awarded the Summer Pairs Plate with each | |
| player receiving a recognition keepsake. | |
| The Runner Up Pair will be awarded a recognition keepsake. | |
| The winner of the Winter Singles will be awarded the Winter Singles Plate with | |
| a recognition keepsake. | |
| The Runner up will be awarded a recognition keepsake | |
| The winner of the Winter Pairs will be awarded the Winter Pairs Plate with each | |
| player receiving a recognition keepsake. | |
| The Runner up pair will be awarded a recognition keepsake each. | |
